We look forward to the opportunity of running by some of the biggest monuments with some of the most historical importance in our country's long and incredible history. This week is all about raising awareness to the people of the United States and to share the message of what the Kyle Pease Foundation is all about. We are strong, we are courageous and as a Nation, we are better together than we are apart.Īs our athletes run and roll through the Nation's capital it is important to reflect on these thoughts and ideals. Inclusion of people from other countries, inclusion of our ancestors, inclusion of the strong and the weak, inclusion of those different from ourselves and of course, inclusion of those with challenges. We are a country that was built on inclusion. Tier One: Historic Half events (13.On the week leading up to America's most prestigious race, The Marine Corps Marathon, I can't help but be reminded of what inclusion is all about.Only one live event from a tier may count as a qualifier. Distinguished status is open to runners of all ages and ability levels and is the perfect opportunity for motivated individuals to participate in the MCM Event Series hosted on Marine Corps Base Quantico.Īmbitious runners who seek to earn this coveted title and exclusive medal in 2022 must register for live and in-person events from all four tiers. The Distinguished Participant medal is earned for a year of running with the Marines.
Registration is currently open for all three Historic Half Weekend events. It will also mark the first time the half marathon and Devil Dog Double will be running live since 2019. The MCHH will be returning to Fredericksburg, VA for the first time in two years. This year will also celebrate the 15th Marine Corps Historic Half (MCHH).
Those who successfully complete the 17.75K will once again gain Access Granted into the 47 th Marine Corps Marathon (MCM) running on October 30, 2022. Marine Corps 17.75KThe schedule continues with several events celebrating anniversary milestones, such as the 10 th Marine Corps 17.75K on March 26.
